Acrylic impregnation (on some products) offers twice the durability of non-impregnated products. In this process, liquid acrylic is combined with stain and injected throughout the surface layer of the wood to fortify the fibers and protect the floor from dings and dents. These floors require different products for cleaning that regular urethane wood floors. Armstrong wood and laminate floor cleaner can be used safely on all urethane finish hardwood floors.
