Why We Ride
The Tour de Kids TEAM USA™ has been organized by a small group of cycling enthusiasts who have a passion for cycling and a desire to help sick and injured children across the country. Each tour benefits the Children’s Miracle Network and the local CMN hospital. The Orange County, California ride will directly benefit CHOC Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Every child deserves the hope and healing of children’s hospitals. With the help of a Children’s Miracle Network hospital in your community, children of all ages and backgrounds can receive treatment for every imaginable disease and injury – from asthma and broken bones to cancer and heart defects. Children’s hospitals are also on the front lines of research, education and outreach programs that keep millions of kids out of the hospital each year.
This year alone, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals will provide charity care worth billions, yet these children’s hospitals depend on your support to help fund their vital services.
Tour de Kids TEAM USA was founded in 2010 by Barry Sopinsky. US. Tour de Kids TEAM USA™ will be putting on Miracles in Motion CLASSIC charitable cycling events in Colorado, California and Washington this year.
We all realize that in the current economic conditions finding additional resources for charitable contributions may be difficult, however, always remember, it’s not what you get in life, it’s what you give.
