Instruction Page Please read and follow these steps carefully. This is a strong cleaning agent that if improperly used, may damage the finish of your floor. If used properly, it should help to remove the cloudiness/haziness or streaks on your hardwood floor caused by top coat products.
FOLLOW ALL STEPS AND COMPLETE THIS PROCESS ALL AT ONCE-DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS APPLICATION PROCESS OR SKIP STEPS.
Supplies needed
Hardwood cleaner (manufacturer recommended) Spray bottle Floorcleaners.net scrub pad (not SOS or steel wool pad) New and well rinsed sponge mop or terrycloth mop Rubber/latex gloves and safety goggles ( recommended to prevent eye/skin irritation when handling IFT) Apply a SMALL amount of IFT solution to a section of the floor. Use a spray bottle to mist the floor or squirt a small amount and spread it with a soft cloth. Apply only enough cleaner to wet the floor. Use the Floorcleaners.net scrub pad and scrub the area. This should remove the "finish coat". (i.e. Bruce Fresh Finish, Tarkett Refresher or Robbins ForEver II) After scrubbing the area, wipe the section with a cloth dampened with water. The final step is to apply the hardwood cleaner with a sponge mop or terry cloth mop. No water rinse is necessary after this cleaner is applied. Wipe/mop the floor until it is dry- do not leave the floor wet. If this is successful in removing the "finish coat", proceed with the rest of the floor, following all steps. You may need to repeat 1 & 2 more than once.
If you are not successful in removing the "finish coat" with this process, you need to remove the remaining product by abrading the floor (screening or sanding). It is recommended to hire a professional flooring contractor if abrasion techniques are required. Tile & Grout Cleaner (Spanish) Limpia el mosaico y base de arena. Top of page For cleaning tile & grout surfaces Directions: Gallon is concentrated 4 oz bottles are diluted. dilute in spray bottle or bucket. for general cleaning dilute 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water. For heavier soil removal increase amount of concentrated cleaner as needed. Spray or apply diluted cleaner to soiled tile and grout surfaces. Wipe or gently scrub with a damp sponge or soft nylon brush. (Do not use any abrasive materials.) Rinse clean with water. Caution: may be eye and or skin irritant. First Aid: Eye contact: flush immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Call a physician. Skin contact: If skin irritation occurs wash area thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. Call a physician. If swallowed: Seek immediate emergency help. Storage: Keep container sealed when not in use. Store sealed container upright in a cool, dry location away from heat, flame and sparks. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN Product Contains: Water soluble alkaline cleaner. Stone Clean Testing - Always test each surface before overall application to ensure suitability and desired results. Use: Stone Clean can be used on any surface such as marble, granite, limestone and terrazzo as a restorer, daily maintenance solution and grout film remover. Directions - Mix 2 oz of Stone clean per 1 gallon of water for polished and non-absorbent flooring. For honed, flame-cut, tumbled and absorbent flooring, reduce mix to 1 oz per gallon. For spray buffing applications or extremely soiled surfaces, mix 4 oz per 1 gallon of water, Grout film removal mixture is dependent grout type and degree of film. Test at 2-3 oz per 1 gallon of water for best mixture, using white polishing pad to break mechanical bond. For extremely dirty surfaces, flood mop allowing solution time to work. Mop or vacuum up dirt laden solution. Under normal conditions do not rinse. The floor can be buffed when dry to enhance luster. Stone Clean also helps slip resistance. Precautions - Keep container sealed when not in use. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush with clear water for 15 minutes. if irritation persists seek medical attention.
